Our grandfather, Ahmed Al-Bulbul, was displaced from Jaffa in 1948. He founded the family's keffiyeh factory in Jericho in 1958, and after the 1967 war he carried the craft across the border and re-established it in Jordan, where it became the first keffiyeh factory in the country.
